What it is and how to benefit...
The CCCeCommunity is a free on-line tool to enable young people to communicate with peers in other places. If you’ve got internet connection and a webcam, you can:
- Live video conference with 4 other people at a time anywhere in the World (as long as they have internet access)
- Upload text & images & sound to share with one another
- Have your own mini-gallery that shows your on-line collaboration, which other people can see
- Create an external link to another website
Examples of how are people using it:
- Young musicians are co-composing together
- Linking classrooms in the south east with classrooms all over the World
- Schools in Xiangu Province in China and Essex hold an international sports day all at the same time
*One person (21 years or over) who is connected to a project will be responsible for managing the content on their page and agreeing which young people can join their community
The procedure for joining the CCCeCommunity:
- Contact the team to arrange a familiarisation session
- Once trained, that adult has devolved responsibility to managing their project’s page & content
- Then create, compete or collaborate!
